By subscribing to our maintenance service or purchasing products from our platform, you agree to the terms outlined in this refund policy.


2. Refund Policy for Maintenance Subscription Services

2.1 Eligibility for Refunds

Refunds for maintenance subscription services will only be granted under the following conditions:

  • No Maintenance Services Rendered: If no scheduled maintenance or repair services have been performed under the subscribed plan.
  • Cancellation Before Service Commencement: If a customer cancels their subscription before any service has been scheduled or provided.
  • Duplicate or Erroneous Charges: If a customer is incorrectly charged due to a billing error.

2.2 Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be granted in the following cases:

  • Partial Use of the Service: If any maintenance or repair service has been performed, regardless of the frequency or extent.
  • Failure to Provide Access: If our technicians are unable to perform the service due to lack of access or other customer-related issues.
  • Cancellations After Service Commencement: Once a service request has been processed or attended to, no refund will be issued.
  • Additional Costs Not Covered by Subscription: Charges for height access equipment, specialized parts, or out-of-scope repairs will not be refundable.

2.3 Cancellation Process

Customers must request a refund in writing via email at info@specialopscontractors.co.za or through our online portal. Refunds will be processed within 7–14 business days after approval.


3. Refund Policy for Purchased Products

3.1 Eligibility for Refunds

Customers are entitled to refunds or replacements for defective products, as per the Consumer Protection Act (CPA). A refund will be granted if:

  • The product is defective, faulty, or unfit for its intended purpose upon arrival.
  • The product is returned in its original condition, unused, and in its undamaged original packaging within 7 days of receipt.
  • The return request is accompanied by proof of purchase (invoice or receipt).

3.2 Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be granted in the following cases:

  • Change of Mind: If the product is not defective but the customer no longer wants it.
  • Damage Due to Misuse or Negligence: Products damaged due to customer mishandling, incorrect installation, or improper use.
  • Missing Packaging or Accessories: If the product is returned without its original packaging or essential components.
  • Products Beyond the Return Window: If the return request is made beyond the 7-day return period.

3.3 Return and Refund Process
